Dr. Kouba completed his pre-med education with a bachelor's of science in Biology from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA while also competing on the men's golf team. After graduating in 2000, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, also in Davenport. Courses included biochemistry, biomechanics, pathology, histology, a major emphasis on human anatomy and physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care in the Palmer College clinic. After completing his degree in October of 2003, Dr. Kouba and his wife moved to Lee's Summit to establish his practice, which opened in January of 2005. Dr. Kouba and his wife Grace also have three children in elementary school who keep them very busy!
In his free time Dr. Kouba enjoys competitive amateur golf, road-biking, time with friends and family and the kids, working in the yard, watching the Royals, Chiefs, and Iowa Hawkeyes, live music, and cooking anything from fresh seasonal produce to slow cooked barbeque.
